The philisophy of CenterPeace Movement is best deascribed by a quote from Joesph Pilates,

and maintenance of a uniformly developed body with a sound mind fully capable of naturally, easily, and satisfactorily performing our many and varied daily tasks with spontaneous zest and pleasure"

The Pilates method is a physical movement program designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. Pilates focuses on postural symmetry, breath control, abdominal strength, spine, pelvis and
shoulder stabilization, muscular flexibility, joint mobility and strengthening. Instead of isolating muscle groups, the whole body is trained, integrating the upper and lower extremities with the trunk.

Tai Chi is a noncompetitive, self paced system of physical exercise and stretching. Sitting Tai Chi exercise is a series of postures or mevements in a slow, graceful manner, as each posture flowes into the next without pausing. There are many types of Tai Chi and Sitting Tai Chi is an adaption of the Sun Style Tai Chi standing form.
